Balloon Event Fix

Since the balloon event that that GM's and CM's had promised us didn't work, now they have fixed it. We can get extra party buffs if we form words. Here is what CM Hastur says :

So we have a fix for the Balloon buff issue (yay!). We will be having a brief maintenance to apply this fix today (1/3/2010) at 6pm PST. Due to the issue, we felt the event has not really been as fun as they could have potential been, so we are going to extended it until the end of January . That's right starting from the end of maintenance today until the very last day in Januaryyou'll have 62 different letter combination's that yield a party buff, with so many options try and find all 62 Different combination's and post your results in this thread!

By equipping the balloons and joining a party with other users that also have the balloon equipped. When the party spells out the special words or letter combination's, they will be given party buffs. Party up with your friends and locate the special words and combination's for special party buffs!

How to obtain the balloons:

* Users are given event Gacha boxes that give a random letter/number ballon. The Gacha boxes can be obtained from the treasure chest given from kill count bonuses.
* Users also can obtain some of the event balloons by completing special repeatable quests given by Gato (Event NPC) in town.

Warpportal Games and Web Malfunctioning

Today the games and web of Warpportal have been malfunctioning. To find out what happened, I have dug out some info. Although it's fixed, they warn that unless the problem is replaced or fixed, it might happen again. So I am writing to warn you what might happen. You will not be able to go to the Warpportal website. You will also not be able to play the games.
Here is what Facebook's Dragon Saga Homepage says:

Currently the website and games are unavailable due to a critical network equipment failure. We are currently working on resolving the issue and expect a speedy fix.

Then they say something else:

Yep we are back up for now. Seems there is a failure on our main router. We can make it work again, but until it is gone over by a technician or replaced it may happen again. We will keep our eye on it, and likely early next week a more permantent solution will be had.

As they say, it's back on, but beware.
